2008 Kovacik D-45
This guitar was completed in 2008 for Blue-G Guitars in Tokyo. It is a faithful copy of a 1968 Martin D-45 in it's specs. The solid brazilian rosewood back and sides are old Martin stock wood that was obtained from a retired employee. The German spruce top is a factory original D-45 top that was not used at Martin and was obtained from the same source as the rosewood. The guitar features 1968 specs such as an abalone "boxed" end piece, square tube neck reinforcement, Grover Rotomatick tuners and straight tapered top bracing.
